Volcom had a board shorts design competition. This is my submission, what do you think? would you buy/wear these?
This picture was an assignment from my art teacher. Everyone in my class had to draw their own Ampersand. An ampersand is the typographic symbol used to designate the word and (&) it is a combination of the letters et which in Latin means and. There are many theories about how the ampersand was invented. The most common belief is that it was developed by a monk who used the & symbol as short hand while he was making copies of literature.

Each week I will pick one of my readers and draw their name. To enter the contest please email me your name and 2 important/special things about you. An example of these things would be your favorite sport, animal, shape , etc. The reason for telling me these things is so that I can incorporate them into your drawing, giving it a more personal and unique feel.
